Who We Partner With
We collaborate with physicians who are:
- Licensed and in good standing in one or more U.S. states
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology, or related specialties with experience in obesity medicine
- Interested in delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care via telemedicine
Physicians practice independently and deliver care within their scope of licensure and applicable state requirements.
Our Care Model
Care at TeleSlim Clinic is delivered through a structured, physician-led telehealth approach that emphasizes:
- Comprehensive medical evaluation
- Individualized treatment planning
- Ongoing follow-up and patient education
- Continuity of care through telemedicine
All medical decisions are made solely by the treating physician using independent professional judgment.
What TeleSlim Clinic Provides
Physicians partner with TeleSlim Clinic through a physician-paid platform access and services fee. This fee covers the technology and infrastructure used to deliver telemedicine care, including:
- Secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform with EHR powered by athenahealth
- Professional liability coverage, including tail coverage, related to services provided through the platform
- Dedicated, city-specific patient-facing website and digital presence for each physician, including search engine optimization (SEO) and ongoing website updates.
- Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization and management support, including profile setup, accuracy monitoring, and ongoing updates
- Reputation management services, including patient review monitoring and support for maintaining an accurate, professional online presence
- Dedicated patient communication tools, including phone and secure messaging
- 24/7 patient answering services for non-clinical patient inquiries
TeleSlim Clinic currently supports physicians licensed in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas, and is open to evaluating expansion into additional states on a case-by-case basis.
What Physicians Control
Physicians retain full control over:
- Medical decision-making and clinical judgment
- Patient care and treatment plans
- Schedule availability
- Professional standards and scope of practice
TeleSlim Clinic does not interfere with the physician-patient relationship.
Independent Contractor Relationship
Physicians partner with TeleSlim Clinic as independent contractors, not employees. This structure supports flexibility while preserving professional independence and clinical autonomy.
TeleSlim Clinic does not provide insurance-based services at this time.
